My favsie STM 15” Evolution bag has failed me. Upon further inspection, I blame shoddy backpack design:



The only thing holding the load-bearing straps together? Thin sheets of poly-nylon-garbage and glue.
It’s a beautiful pack and treated my MBP like royalty - right until the wheels fell off the carriage.

I bought the North Face Surge as a replacement. First thing I scoped? Straps. Love it. I move on quickly.

Update: STM customer service are sending a brand new replacement bag. Pretty ace. What will I do with two laptop bags? I guess a new MBP is in order…
